Dr. Chad Schanilec

Dr. Chad Schanilec grew up in North Dakota and attended college there before attending dental school at The University of Iowa, where he graduated at the top of his class with honors.  While attending orthodontic residency here at MCV, he decided to make Richmond home, first teaching for a short time before private practice.  After spending a few years enjoying the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest, he moved back home to Richmond.   After practicing for 23 years, he is experienced in all facets of orthodontics, yet enjoys keeping current in the field.

When he is not enjoying making beautiful smiles, you can find him doing a woodworking project or enjoying some live music.
